This is going to be a silly question, but bear with me. If I dehull the pumpkin seeds will they look like the store bought green pepitas? I rather like the hull. It's very crunchy.Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01584989502991304341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4705125965213658123.post-27212721705747505242008-10-22T11:30:00.000-07:002008-10-22T11:30:00.000-07:00I agree, I had no idea you could dehull them altho...I agree, I had no idea you could dehull them although I always wondered why the pepitas I bought at the store were smaller and green in comparion to the ones that come directly out of my pumpkin. Zinc is a mineral we really can't have too much of, it does so many things for us.

I also didn't know you can actually dehull them. I always just eat the whole thing... good thing it's ok that way :)Adamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08494977879326006105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4705125965213658123.post-3006416956500964412008-10-12T18:25:00.000-07:002008-10-12T18:25:00.000-07:00I love pepitas! I was 12 years old and in heaven. I love the fact that they blend in so well with other ingredients. They never overpower a dish.
And it's great to hear that something I enjoy is actually good for me. :-)Michelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05139501484830915810noreply@blogger.com
